Nick Villa

Nick began his career in 2007 as in-house counsel for a privately owned small business where he ran day-to-day legal and contract operations. He entered estate planning in 2011 when he joined a colleague's trust and estates firm. After living and working in Utah and the Washington DC area for several years, in 2019 Nick moved back to the Chicago area with his wife and young daughter. He has been practicing estate planning in Illinois full-time since then and started his own practice in 2020.

Nick has worked with firefighters, police officers, and military veterans as an attorney, volunteer, and analyst for the VA's small business program. He enjoys serving these communities and hopes to continue that in his current endeavors.

Nick enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and playing and watching sports, including golf, and is an avid baseball (White Sox) fan. He also loves music and has been (slowly) learning to play the piano for the last few years. He speaks fluent Spanish.

Nick has drafted hundreds of revocable living trusts, wills, powers of attorney and related estate planning documents. He enjoys planning and helping clients prepare, provide for themselves and their loved ones in the even of disability or death, and protect their assets from probate and other inconveniences. He believes estate planning can be easily complicated and strives to make it a simple and enjoyable process.
